![]() They're fucking crucial for the rat king module. The new items for rat king? Torches, anti venom, etc. Stomp out little ones with high priority. The little ones can combine to make big ones. Giving the group's hunter an extra point of damage might be a better use of the potion than you gaining a third bonus point of damage. So don't be afraid to buff your teammates. Iirc you can't get more than 3 stacks of a single potion on you (so no becoming a 'roided out monster who hits for 20) but you can give potions to others, be they health, stength, swiftness, etc. All potions are free actions, and the strength & swiftness last till the end of the game, so drink early & often. So they're brilliant for the hunter/archer character & wizard too, not just the warrior and thief. ![]() The strength potions say they up damage on melee attacks. Obviously sometimes you still have to, but it's still worth noting. ![]() Using one while down will be the same heal as if a player touched you. They heal for much more when you're on your feet. Try not to pick yourself up using a health potion. The rat king quest however, will GREATLY punish you for splitting up. Keep the group together! It's party 101 for most games, but it's astounding how much this needs to be drilled into a lot of demeo players □ the first quest you can get away with a bit of distance between the group, but it can still easily bite you in the ass. There is more content planned and coming, so pace yourself! I see a lot of people who tuck in to this game and hit level 20 within a week of purchase, and then are on here a week later declaring the game dead/boring/etc.
